kanchipuram district is placed on the north-eastern coast of Tamil Nadu, bordering to the Bay of Bengal and Chennai city. Kanchipuram is the city of thousand temples. The district has been divided into 3 revenue divisions comprising of 8 taluks with 1214 revenue villages.
